# 343
Finding beauty took more imagination today. It wasn't just picturesque out and the hills were not full of color or the sky wasn't a brilliant blue. It was dark grey and there was no contrast at all. But there was warmth and friendship. I also ate a wrap with turkey, bacon and avocado, can't ask for much more beauty than that.
I wanted to remind all of you original mothers who haven't done so yet to join CUB. They are the one organization that's focus is us and offers resources to help you either as an individual or as a member of a group, as us all together. Next year I would like to be able to present this project there.
I am grateful for
1) the ability to swim
2) The opportunity to swim with a group of caring thoughtful adults who understand what it is like to be in pain a lot.
3) to be with people who understand pain, yet spend most of their time being loving or funny.
4) Curry (the spice and the dog)
5) Imagination.... did I already say that?
P.S. When Emma was 2 and she was memorizing everything, she wanted to repeat all songs, all poems, anything I read her, she would say, "Again, again." And after about six times she could repeat it, whatever it was. Her auditory memory was/is exceptional. It was astonishing to watch in a two year old, though. The again, again is part of our ritual with each other, so finding beauty, again, seemed an appropriate title. I think Finding Beauty has been used a few times in this blog already. Again!!!!!
