Today I am grateful for:
my own sense of humor
living near rivers
good cold drinking water
smiling toddlers, always
that growing older means being more straight forward with people you love.
My daughter will be 43 tomorrow. I hope she knows she is at a high point in her life, she probably has some wisdom and still a lot of energy. I wonder if I am a grandmother, and if so is she now being a chauffeur, dealing with a teen, a preschooler? One of each? Who will help her celebrate her birthday tomorrow? I hope it is a warm and wonderful one.
