Day # 321: Moonsetting

#321
I am very fond of this spot.   It is a little chilly today, but blue and bright.  I am curious if it is possible to see all eight common year-round birds daily.  And then I am told on the local bird song show that the American Wigeon is now a year-round bird, too.  So there are nine birds I will look for daily.  Three of them are ducks.

There are no birds up here today, which is very rare. There isn't even a crow.  It is still; the sun is bright and there are many contrails.  Military?

I didn't know how timely my questions about a Budget for Peace were.  It is frustrating not being able to stop everyone, "O.K., everyone wait."  The complexity of these issues is so large; reacting cannot be a helpful action.  There is such need for multi-level pro-action.  Please!!

Went to a poetry reading tonight.  It was a very good thing to do, not only is it reassuring that people are thinking and that they are creating helpful prose amidst such sadness and tragedy, but it is also helpful to hear opinions and thoughts in such a venue that allows everyone to listen first and foremost.  I appreciate people's work.

Then we walked out into the cold clear night where the moon is setting and looks like it does in a child's book illustration, cradled down, possibly rocking each and everyone of us peacefully to sleep.
